In the 40’s, it was the raisin capital of the world.
In the late 50’s, Visa was born here.
In the 70’s, popping was invented here.
In the 80’s, Carol Burnett and Teri Garr pretended to live here.
In the 90’s, the FBI arrested politicians for selling farmland to housing developers.
In 2000, it was renamed the meth capital of the world.
In 2009, the foreclosure monster is still on the loose.
Today, it’s a different story all together.

Comment by JR 05.20.10 @ 11:08 pmI’m old. I liked the two films I watched, but the Cannonball bothered me a bit from the perspective that the kids are actually doing a great service for the neighborhoods by cleaning out the pools. I actually think you could get paid for doing that. You are helping remove disease and insect problems from the water. People should be thanking you. Really, why aren’t you turning it into a business?
Comment by Laughsalot 09.18.10 @ 5:15 amNice job. It’s about time somebody told the truth. Keep up the good work.
